O CHRISTMAS TREE

Another little table in our lounge featuring the Cuthbertson (English) "American Christmas Tree" -- can you stand it one more time?

Mikasa Irish Coffees -- unfortunately only two survived the fall of a shelf where they were stored.
Boo Hoo Hoo

I like it with the white on white tablecloths and the lacy topper from Sweet Husband's Grandma

We use these dishes all the month of December.  It's fun to find different looks with it.  Are you having fun with your Christmas dishes, too?

  1. Hi Ellen! Wonderful look. I love that table topper and I an envious of your white candle sticks!. The red stripe pillows are fantastic. I am too far behind this year and need to kick into high gear. Dianne

  2. I would have had a cow with a blue bladder if those fallen Mikasa Irish coffee mugs were mine!!! It just breaks my heart every time something like that happens, whether it's to me or someone else! I think that by using these elements more than once it is a good demonstration of how to change up a table with just a few tweaks. Not everyone is skilled in that area! Good lesson! I'm still broken up (bad choice of words!) about the mugs. I have a headache...need to lie down. :-)

  3. Have you noticed that many of the Christmas colors this year are an exact match to your kitchen? The light aqua and red are everywhere. I am loving your little area of your kitchen.

  8. It is fun to see how many different looks you can get from one set of dishes...you are doing great, Ellen! This week takes on a totally different look with the white...very pretty, but I like the brightness of the blue tablecloth...lots of color in my world makes me very happy!
