I am just about this befuddled!

I have been trying for a while to use Instagram.  I think in the beginning, I managed to post about 3 photos.

Now it will not work on any of my devices except the iPad.  I have changed my password about forty-eleven times, and it will not ever recognize it or my login, even when I change it.  There are at least a dozen passwords saved on my computer for it, none of which will work.  I have read all the help pages and still "can't get no satisfaction."  I am running out of patience!

Obviously I need help!!!

If you are proficient with it, please let me know how to fix it, or share a reference for a fix.

Thanks so much!

  1. I would help you if I could, but know nothing about it and do not use it. Good luck, I am sure someone out there in Blogland will come and help you.

  2. I think Instagram will only work from either your iphone or ipad. I can see my instagram page from my computer, but I can't post from it. I think it's only supposed to be for mobile devices.

Now that I've said that, I hope I'm telling you the right thing. Maybe someone else can help.

    1. Yes, Leslie Anne is correct. You can view photos on your computer, but that's it. You need to use your phone or ipad to do any other functions.

  3. The reason you can't post from your computer is because it is for mobile, phones and iPads. I learned that after wasting a lot of time on my computer and by then I'd lost interest. I hope you hear how to do this and post about it. It is suppose to be relatively easy. I would love to try again.

  4. I'm sorry, Ellen, but I don't use Instagram and no nothing about it. I'm sure you'll get some help. Don't stress!
    Be a sweetie,
    Shelia ;)

  5. I know nothing but googled and this came up for devices it can be used with. Hope someone can help you out, Ellen.

Instagram is distributed through the Apple App Store, Google Play, and Windows Phone Store. Support for the app is available for iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, and Android handsets, while third-party Instagram apps are available for Blackberry 10 and Nokia-Symbian Devices.

  6. Well, maybe it's just as well that I don't have a smart phone. One more reason to get my blood pressure raised!

  7. You can only use it to post photos from your iPhone or iPad. I don't understand why it's no longer working on your phone. That's weird. I wish I could help you!

  8. Sometimes you can reboot your iPhone or iPad (log in) to Instagram and that will work. Good luck!

  9. I'm no help, either. I don't even know what Instagram is!!! I've heard people mention it, but not a clue about it. I know there has GOT to be a tech-savvy person out there who can solve this conundrum for you...but it ain't me! Sorry!

  10. Yes, all above is correct. Use it from your ipad or phone. It's strange it won't let you get logged in.
    App, Device and Connection
Turn your phone off and on again. Force-close and re-launch your Instagram app also. Alternatively, replace your Instagram app with a fresh copy, especially if you’ve received a message suggesting a “filesystem” error. If an error message suggests server login connection issues instead, reboot your Wi-Fi router or switch from Wi-Fi to your carrier’s cellular connection. Also, on an iPhone, tap “Settings,” followed by “General” and “Date and Time” to ensure that “Set Automatically” is switched on. If all else fails, file a report with Instagram recording your phone’s IP address and whether or not you can reach your account’s Edit Profile screen on Instagram.com using your mobile browser.

    Username and Password
Tap “Forgot your password?” on the Instagram login screen. Choose to reset your password via email, or through a previously linked Facebook account. Use the email’s greeting to confirm your correct username and its time-sensitive link to reset your password.

I love nice comments! So leave me one already!
