I know you are all dying to know everything there is to know about me! That ain’t gonna happen.
First of all, I am not all that interesting.
Second, a girl has to keep some mystery about herself!
Third, if I had done everything that the gossipy little podunk town I came from has attributed to me, I would be about five thousand years old. So if you hear something, take it with a handful of salt!
I am a writer, and I published my first book GENEVA. Previously, I was a decorator with a small business called GLORIOUS ROOMS till I had to give it up to care for Geneva, my late mother. I have had a lot of very crappy jobs over the years, all of which I hated.
I have been married more than once (how many times and to whom is none of your business), but you have to kiss a lot of frogs before you find the prince. My husband and I have been married twenty-six years, and as he is fond of saying, “She just can’t get rid of me.” The truth is, he is the only one who can stand me.
I have one son who lives in Beijing, China, and he is a film producer at ADAMAS.  I have no grandchildren, but I am very happy for all of you who do.
I went to college for many years but still do not have a real degree because I am too easily bored, and I like to move on when I exhaust a subject. Some might say that applies to my (prior) relationships as well! Yes, but even we Cougars can change our spots.
I have lived in many different places, and I have traveled.  My husband is also retired, and now we just take off and go on a whim.  It's great.  And yes, it is still like the Royal Progress  --  I need a herd of elephants to carry my luggage.

I am liberal in my thinking, don’t care much for organized religion (although technically I am Episcopalian), believe that there is something greater than ourselves, and that possibly, maybe, there is an afterlife. I detest narrow-minded hypocrites, and I believe in redemption.
This blog is called “Unfocused” because I like to explore many possibilities. You never know what you might find here, and I sincerely hope you will not be bored.
Thanks for visiting, and I hope you will be a regular!
